This series features coffee-producing nations of high interest to our members, presentations from World Coffee Research (WCR) staff, and conversations with guest speakers from partner organizations working in-country to create the future of coffee.
In the first half hour, attendees heard a presentation from WCR team members Maureen Namugalu, Uganda Country Project Manager, and Emilia Umaña, Senior Manager of WCR’s Nursery Program, and had an opportunity to engage in a brief Q&A session. In the second half hour, the webinar features an interview-style discussion with Dr. Godfrey Ssremba, Senior Research Officer at Uganda’s National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO).
