WCR is hiring Country Agronomists in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua to implement and coordinate World Coffee Research’s activities, including the Global Coffee Monitoring Program (GCMP), coffee seed sector and nursery development activities, variety trials, agronomy trials, and other research and development activities. They will report to the Country Team Leader and the GCMP Regional Coordinator (RC) and will be a member of the GCMP Team. The Country Agronomist will establish partnerships to install and maintain field trials in coffee farms to advance the knowledge of coffee variety performance and farming practices to improve farm profitability. Other key responsibilities will be to help coordinate WCR’s activities in
the current MOCCA Project.
The Country Agronomist position is a service deliverables-based position. The Country Agronomist will operate remotely and independently, and a work space will be established at one of WCR’s partner offices.
